The 3 Methods That Will Make Hair Grow Faster Longer and Stronger!

1. Important Nutrients are required for optimum growth of hair

There are numerous of critical ingredients required that will make tresses grow more quickly, stronger and longer. A few of the more important ones are Biotin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vitamin B-1, Vitamin B-2, Vitamin, B-12, Choline, Inositol, Niacin, Iron, Silica, Folic Acid, Panthothenic Acid and MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane). But one would ask how you go about including these essential nutrients in your diet? Firstly one has to eat a properly balanced and nutritious diet. And secondly, its a really good idea to obtain a good pack of multi-vitamins from your local drug store. You may already be taking multivitamins? That’s awesome, you have already taken the first step!

2. A well-balanced diet is important - take away the hair growth inhibitors from your diet.

What i mean by hair growth inhibitors is food or habits which prevent hair growing at its optimal speed. There has been a lot of people emailing me of late with great results because they have reduce all the crap out of their diet. Many of these named inhibitors are smoking, having a drink, sugar, fatty foods, caffeine, stress and lack of sleep.

3. Take on board some hair follicle stimulation techniques.

This sounds difficult, but its not really. Hair follicle stimulation is really just a fancy way of increasing the blood circulation to the scalp, which will stimulates hair regrowth. There are lots of ways to stimulate your follicles of hair that include Manual Scalp Stimulation, Ginger Hair Growth Stimulating Recipe (I haven’t had room to post the recipe here), Essential Oils and Natural aloe-vera.

Map World intellectual

October 30th, 2010

According to the introduction of Map World’s independent intellectual property rights from SBSM issued on Oct. 21, Map World has been based on software products with independent intellectual property rights owned by China. The country has developed a service system, including data processing, management and maintenance, online services and interface secondary development. The system will enable Map World to deal with 10 million page views per day.

Jiang explained that the independent intellectual property rights of Map World refer to that service software. Map World has a lot of data. China holds the independent intellectual property rights for the software that displays the data online to allow the public to view and search those data.

“Satellite images have been purchased from abroad, and I think the suppliers are from different countries,” said Jiang.

There are also complaints that some data in Map World does not reflect the latest information. For example, the names of some places that have been changed or omitted, such as Chongwen District and Xuanwu District in Beijing, can still be found there.

“Map World is still at the stage of testing, and there is much room for improvement. Suggestions from Internet users are welcomed. More than 1,500 suggestions have been received on the feedback column on the website, and more than half of them said that names on Map World need to be updated and revised. We will check and revise those names,” Jiang added.

The State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping (SBSM) has clarified that the satellite imagery data used in China’s Map World came from commercial satellites and the self-owned intellectual property rights in Map World refer to the platform’s “service software,” not its “data resources.” The claim that Map World has independent intellectual property rights that are owned by China was called into question after it was released.

The SBSM announced that the Map World, a Chinese public platform for national geographic information, was officially released on Oct. 21, 2010. It has been labeled by some media reports as a “Web map service developed independently by China.” But one Chinese person raised doubts about this on a blog the next day, saying the satellite maps used in Map World most likely come from the U.S.-based DigitalGlobe, which is the satellite imagery provider of Google Maps.

In the response, SBSM clarified that the independent intellectual property of Map World refers to the online service software, but not data resource like the satellite imagery itself. On the evening of Oct. 25, Jiang Jie, an official with the National Geomatics Center of China under the SBSM, said that the Map World platform for the public geographic information service was built by the center. actively zhongeide zdownzle

conduct census of rare monkeys

October 15th, 2010

More than 30 people, including researchers and forest rangers, are expected to participate in the census. They would work in five teams to monitor different groups of golden monkeys, he said.

“Winter will be the best time for the census as all the tree leaves will have fallen by then, and will provide us a better view of the monkeys,” he added.

The Shennongjia golden monkeys, which live in deep forests at altitudes of between 1,680 to 3,000 meters, are on the verge of extinction.

They were first spotted in Shennongjia in the 1960s. The first census in the 1980s revealed that only 501 golden monkeys lived in the area.

Its population had expanded to 1,280 by 2005 after local environment was better conserved.

Located in the northwestern mountains in Hubei province, the Shennongjia Forestry District, which administers the nature reserve, boasts rich natural forest resources. It used to contribute over 100,000 cubic meters of timber every year to support China’s economy between the 1960s and the 1980s.

But in the 1990s, the local government decided to stop looking at Shennongjia as a source of timber and turned it into a forest conservation area after deforestation seriously damaged the local ecology and reduced the number of wild animals.

Today, forest coverage in the district exceeds 88 percent, up from around 63 percent in the 1990s.

Dubbed “Noah’s Arc” for animals and plants from the glacial period, the Shennongjia area provided shelter for animals and plants from glacier activities that were prevalent elsewhere during the Quaternary period some 2.5 million years ago. It has preserved an array of plants that existed in the Tertiary period and is widely called a home of living plant fossils.

It is also believed to be home to the legendary Bigfoot-like ape man.

The Shennongjia golden monkey is a sub-species of the Chuan golden monkey — one of three kinds of golden monkeys which can be found only in China.

Regarded as China’s “state treasure”, just like the giant pandas, golden monkeys are under the state’s top level protection. They also live in Southwest China’s Sichuan province and in the northwestern provinces of Shaanxi and Gansu. There are less than 25,000 golden monkeys in the world.

Shennongjia Nature Reserve in Central China’s Hubei province will launch a five-month-long population census of the endangered golden monkey next month to find out if the numbers of this rare Chinese species have increased, a researcher said Wednesday.

Although the last census, conducted in 2005, showed the number had doubled to more than 1,200 since the 1980s, scientists are unsure what the population trend of the rare animal has been during the past five years.

“We cannot say the number has increased until the census is done, as food shortages and snow storms in winter remain fatal to some golden monkeys,” Yang Jingyuan, head of the reserve’s research institution, told Xinhua in an exclusive interview.

“In 2008 alone, we found 13 dead monkeys after snowstorms,” he said. However, he said the number of golden monkeys could have increased as researchers have been supplying food to these animals during the winters since 2005.

Researchers have been placing apples and oranges onto the sharp ends of chopped tree branches along the monkeys’ migratory routes, to make them believe that the fruits had grown on trees and, therefore, could be eaten, Yang said.

eat your broccoli

August 28th, 2010

A new study finds that an extra serving of green leafy vegetables every day cuts the risk of type 2 diabetes in adults by 14 percent.

Eating more green leafy vegetables can significantly cut the risk of developing diabetes, scientists say.

British researchers reviewed six earlier studies on links between diabetes and the consumption of fruits and vegetables, and found that eating an extra serving a day of vegetables like spinach, cabbage and broccoli reduced adults’ risk of getting type 2 diabetes by 14 percent.

The findings do not prove that the veggies themselves prevent type 2 diabetes, which is often linked to poor diet and lack of exercise, and is reaching epidemic levels as obesity rates rise.

People who eat more green leafy vegetables may also have a healthier diet overall, exercise more or may be better off financially, and any of those factors could affect how likely they are to get diabetes.

But, “the data suggest that green leafy vegetables are key”, says researcher Patrice Carter of the diabetes research unit at Leicester University.

The review, published in the British Medical Journal, looked at six studies, which covered more than 200,000 people between the ages of 30 and 74, in the United States, China and Finland.

“Fruit and vegetables are all good, but the data significantly show that green leafy vegetables are particularly interesting, so further investigation is warranted,” Carter says.

Green leafy vegetables contain antioxidants, magnesium and omega 3 fatty acids - all of which have been shown to have health benefits, she adds.

Each of the studies that Carter and her colleagues analyzed followed a group of adults over periods of four-and-a-half to 23 years, recording how many servings of fruits and vegetables each participant ate on a daily basis and then examining who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

The researchers found no significant difference in diabetes risk with higher intake of vegetables in general, fruits in general, or combinations of vegetables and fruits.

Green leafy vegetables stood out, however, with an increase of 1.15 servings a day producing a 14 percent decrease in an individual’s risk of developing diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is caused by the body’s inability to adequately use insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, to regulate levels of glucose produced from food. Uncontrolled, the sugar levels rise and can damage the eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart and major arteries.

An estimated 180 million people worldwide have diabetes. The costs of caring for those with the disease are soaring in wealthy nations and becoming an increasing burden in developing countries, too.

Although there is no cure for diabetes, people with the condition can minimize their chances of becoming sicker by being more active and losing weight.

Some people with diabetes need medications to control their blood sugar and insulin levels - for others, it is enough to keep a close watch on their diet.

It’s important not to point to green leafy vegetables as a “magic bullet” for diabetes prevention and forget the broader picture of whole food groups, write Dr Jim Mann, of the Edgar National Center for Diabetes and Obesity Research at the University of Otago in New Zealand, and Dagfinn Aune of London’s Imperial College, in an accompanying editorial.

However, they add, “the findings are also a useful reminder to clinicians that giving dietary advice may be just as beneficial, if not more so, than prescribing drugs to patients at risk of chronic disease.”

to new level

June 11th, 2010

In the days leading up to the fifth Cultural Heritage Day in China, more than one hundred craftsman have gathered in Beijing for a grand exhibition highlighting the country’s opulent heritage in folk art.

As Zhang Nini tells us, the “Heavenly Crafts” exhibition is more than a simple display of fruitful creations, it calls out for recognition, acknowledgment, and hope to recruit inheritors of these prized traditions.

39-year-old Tibetan artist Niang Ben has been dedicated to the religious art of painting Tangka since he was 12.

Already a certified national cultural heritage inheritor, the artist is forecasting his clear vision for the art form.

Niang Ben, Tangka Artist, said, “There’s a studio in each household, and everyone in the Rebgong area can paint Tangka. The art form has been the livelihood for many families here and young people are willing to take up the craft. ”

Zhang Nini, reporter, said, “Folk art has a proud heritage, reflecting as much of man’s creativity as the profound history of the Chinese civilization. Like this piece of Tangka that is now on the list of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage, the country’s commitment to protecting cultural diversity is gaining ever greater attention.”

The tradition is handed down through good hands. In Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai province, Buddhist monks and folk artists have carried on the heritage in universities and research centers. The University of Tibet set up a Tangka major in 2004, and started enrolling at least one Tangka postgraduate as early as 2000.

Porcelain making is another prized tradition. The premiere quality is yielded from an interplay of earth and blazing fire.

Henan-based Junci Porcelain is a branch of Chinese ceramics. The production process is demonstrated with a method that can be traced back eight-hundred years.

Yang Zhi, Junci Procelain Inheritor, said, “The traditional method allows artist to be creative, like this peacock shaped ware. It’s one-of-a-kind and can hardly be copied and reproduced. Whereas the new technique is more convenient for mass production.”

Tradition versus contemporary, or the blending of the two? Franz porcelain is a Taiwan label based in Jingdezhen county of east China’s Jiangxi province. The company is doing a brisk business. Its trendy designs include a variety of topics, updating the proud techniques of Jingdezhen to a new level, one in touch with today’s market.

A manager from the company said that the cooperation is a win-win solution, and is giving Chinese ceramics new vigor.

It’s a practical solution and a shared vision for artists of other art forms. The Cloud Brocade in Nanjing, for example, used to be available only for the royal family. Tracing back more than 1500 years, the brocade has also been called a living fossil.

Recognition of this fabric has grown in recent years with its application for the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Its entry was made in 2009. Artists from the Nanjing Cloud Brocade Research Center say the art can only survive as long as it goes with the times.

Guo Jun, Art Director of Nanjing Brocade Research Institute, said, “We have brought the most traditional pattern and a new pattern to the exhibition here. We hope that the visitors are able to connect with the fabric, and don’t view it as an alienated art form.”

The exhibition has demonstrated 318 art works from one hundred folk arts masters across 23 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions. Close to 1.8 billion yuan have been plunged into the project for 2200 protection institutions and 20,000 staff members.

Over one thousand art forms have been listed as national cultural heritage and twenty six have made it to the World Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

Organizers of the exhibition hope that collective efforts will continue to maintain the luster of each heritage.

set up in Tibet

June 11th, 2010

Sixty-eight medical personnels have been hired as medical and health experts to evaluate the ability of workers, the first of its kind ever established in Tibet.

Yao Ruifeng, director of TAR Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security said,”All of the experts were chosen from 7 departments of 5 hospitals including Internal Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, who have professional qualification in medicine and good ethics. They will be responsible for evaluating the working abilities of injured workers in their 3-year terms.”

It is a critical part of work for injured workers to enjoy this welfare. In the past, the General Hospital of Tibet Military Area and Tibet Autonomous Region Hospital were mainly responsible for this work.

Children of lesbian

June 11th, 2010

Being raised by a same-sex couple is no hindrance to healthy psychological development, researchers say as the first generation of children conceived by lesbians through donor insemination is coming of age.

In fact, lesbian mothers rated their 17-year-olds higher in social and academic skills, and lower in rule-breaking and aggression, than did mothers of teenagers who also had a father.

The study, which appears in the journal Pediatrics, is the first to follow children of lesbian couples all the way from conception to adolescence.

“There are so many places in the United States where same-sex couples are not allowed to adopt or foster children in need,” said Dr. Nanette Gartrell of the University of California, San Francisco, who started the so-called US National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study in 1986.

While opponents of same-sex parenting often mention cultural or religious values, some also contend that growing up with two moms or two dads can’t be healthy for the child, said Gartrell.

But there isn’t any solid evidence that homosexual parenting is any worse or better than its conventional counterpart, according to Gartrell, who is in a same-sex partnership.

“There is not a single study that has shown there are any problems in terms of psychological adjustment” of the child, she said. “The things we know that make for good parenting are love, resources and being very involved in your child’s life.”

The new findings are based on 77 families of both girls and boys. The researchers interviewed the lesbian mothers about their kids and then rated the teenagers on the Child Behavior Checklist, a standardized assessment that has been used for decades. Each teenager also filled out an internet-based psychological questionnaire.

When comparing the results to how mothers living in conventional families rated their teenagers, children of same-sex couples were more competent in school, had fewer social problems, broke fewer rules and were less aggressive.

Based on what the children reported themselves, they did just as well whether or not they knew the identity of their biological father.

However, those teenagers who — according to their mothers — experienced homophobia and bullying did turn out to be more anxious and have more depressive symptoms than their peers. It wasn’t clear if the anxiety was a product of the bullying or if it was the other way around.

“What this data shows is that it’s not the parenting that seems to be the issue,” but rather the stigmatization, said Ian Rivers, a professor of human development at Brunel University in Uxbridge, England.

But he noted that homophobia was on the decline.

“We are starting to see a sea change,” he said, adding that there was “an awareness in schools that homophobia is something that is inappropriate.”

According to recent data, a good quarter million American children are living with same-sex parents. Rivers, who was not involved in the new study, said concerns about the children’s well-being had not come true.

“These children have not faced many of the issues that critics of gay and lesbian parents say they should be facing,” he told Reuters Health. “This is why this is such an important piece of work.”

It is unclear why kids of same-sex couples would be in better psychological shape than those of heterosexual parents. While the researchers are still analyzing the internet questionnaires, Gartrell said one reason could be that lesbian mothers had planned their parenthood carefully and were prepared to help their children though any discrimination they might face.

“These were chosen children, they weren’t accidents,” Gartrell said.
